Iowa’s Fallen Heroes 8/3-8/7

104.9 The Hawk remembers U.S. Military men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice in their service to our country.

This week we honor…

8/3: Private Kurt Frosheiser from Des Moines, of the U.S. Army.  Kurt died on November 8th, 2008.

8/4: Army Command Sergeant Major Marilyn Gabbard from Polk City.  We lost Marilyn on January 20th, 2007.

8/5: Sergeant Seth Garceau from Oelwein, of the U.S. Army.  Seth was fallen on March 4th, 2005.

8/6: Army Second Lieutenant Brian Gienau from Tripoli.  Brian passed away on February 27th, 2005.

8/7: Sergeant Kevin Gilbertson from Cedar Rapids, of the U.S. Army.  Kevin died on August 31st, 2007.

We salute the brave men and women who have given their lives defending our nation’s freedom, and we honor their memory.
