104.9 The Hawk remembers U.S. Military men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice in their service to our country.

This week we honor…

9/28: Private First Class Katie Soenksen from Davenport, who served in the U.S. Army and passed away May 2nd, 2007.

9/29: Sergeant Kampha Sourivong from Iowa City, who served in the US. Army and was taken from us September 30th, 2006.

9/30: Corporal Michael Speer from Davenport, a United States Marine who died April 9th, 2004.

10/1: Staff Sergeant Eric Steffeney from Waterloo, who served in the U.S. Army and was fallen February 23rd, 2005.

10/2: Private First Class Brandon Sturdy from Urbandale, a United States Marine who passed away May 13th, 2004.

We salute the brave men and women who have given their lives defending our nation’s freedom, and we honor their memory.
