Make sure your eyes are on the sky Sunday night, because they're in for a MAJOR treat!

Not only will there be an eclipse (when the Earth's shadow creeps across the Moon), but that eclipse will take place during a Supermoon (when the moon is full during it's closest orbit to Earth, making it appear larger.)

According to WQAD Meteorologist Eric Sorenson, The Earth's shadow will begin creeping across the Moon at 8:07 p.m. Sunday.

The Moon should be completely dark between 9:11 and 10:23 p.m., and we should be able to see the full Moon again by 11:27 p.m.

There won't be another Supermoon Eclipse until 2033, so go outside Sunday night and catch it for yourself!
