Happy Fourth of July everybody!

Well the Quad Cities was absolutely buzzing with all the sights, sounds, smells, and most definitely sounds of summer this weekend, and I was very fortunate to take part in every single one of those activities this weekend.

I kicked of my freedom fest this weekend doing what I love the most traveling and hosting a great Fourth of July bash in our very own capital city of Des Moines at an amazing two story country club up there I have got to give a shout out to the staff who treated me well and to all the new and amazing friends that were made that night. Des Moines you guys rock.

Sunday was full of laughs and good times, as I took part in a pool-side party and cook out with guys and girls that I have been lucky enough to call friends for many years. We had front yard volleyball which I came to find out, I am one of the greatest of all time at. We rounded out the night with a relaxing bonfire and some fun fireworks.

Tonight is gonna be the culmination of one of the best Independence Day weekends I have ever been a part of, my son and I are going to be heading out to the wonderful fireworks out in Grand Mound, IA. tonight. I hope I can catch some of the listeners out there and maybe even get a chance to say hello! Happy Fourth.
