Happy Joes Heading South…West!

Heading to Happy Joe's is the plan tonight as we celebrate my youngest daughter's birthday. It's become a family tradition every year when a kiddo in our family has a birthday. We just know. It's gotta be Happy Joe's. When I moved away, the one thing I always wanted when I came home was a BLT Happy Joe's pizza (and Whitey's Ice cream, also goes hand-in-hand with Happy Joe's.) It was one of things I also missed about home. So many memories made there as a child, growing up watching their mascot in the parades and just getting excited when my parents or grandparents treated us to a trip to any Happy Joe's in or around the Quad Cities.

Our very own Bettendorf, IA.-based Happy Joe's now serves 52 locations in six states. One more is being added to that list too! Arizona is the seventh state Happy Joe's will be serving up their pizza-deliciousness in, complete with a side-walk patio!

My stomach is growling now and I can't wait to eat there tonight! Neither can my kiddos! Everyone knows we're gonna be dropping some coin in the arcade too. It wouldn't be a birthday in our family if we didn't play the games and get tickets!
