Relax, Turns Out….Iowa is Pretty Chill

I am today years old when I found out April is Stress Awareness Month. But don't get wigged. If you live in Iowa, you're already pretty relaxed.

Turns out, Iowa is among the least stressed states in the country. Fourth, to be exact. That's even taking into consideration money problems and the pandemic. Pat yourselves on the back if you've remained pretty calm during the past year.

Our friends at Wallethub used 41 key metrics to find the states with the highest stress levels,  based on average hours worked per week to the personal bankruptcy rate to the share of adults getting adequate sleep. Here's how we fared:

Stress Levels in Iowa (1=Most Stressed, 25=Avg.):

• 45^th – % of Adults in Fair/Poor Health
• 37^th – Median Credit Score

• 37^th – Crime Rate per Capita
