My mother-in-law lives in Reynolds, a good twenty-minute drive from home. Typically, we take IL 92 out towards Andalusia Road.  You don't want to forget to grab snacks or beverages before you leave town, because once you get down IL 92, there is nowhere to stop unless you want to head back east into Milan.

Those days may be over soon though. Last night, Rock Island city council voted to begin negotiations with Casey's General Store for a parcel of land at the intersection of IL 92 and Andalusia Road.

The awkward shaped parcel of land would house a Casey's Store and Mini Truck Stop providing a number of amenities to those commuting between the Quad Cities and communities to the south and west.

While you read that, I gotta call my mother-in-law.
